ALBA Berlin outrebounded Skyliners 42-28 including a 33-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. Chadian center Jean Marc Koumadje (224-1996, college: FSU) notched a double-double by scoring 10 points and 12 rebounds to lead the effort and American Luke Sikma (202-1989, college: Portland) supported him with 5 points and 8 rebounds. ALBA Berlin's coach Israel Gonzalez used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest.
