Regular Season Round 25: Besancon - Lyon 78-86

Everything went according to plan when fourth ranked Lyon CTC (17-8) beat on the road 10th ranked Besancon (9-16) 86-78 on Tuesday. Forward Elwin Ndjock (193-1993) fired 24 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Guard Theo Rey (194-2000) chipped in 18 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Serbian swingman Nikola Knezevic (200-1999) produced 13 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists and Lithuanian point guard Dovydas Redikas (193-1992) added 7 points, 5 rebounds and 11 assists respectively for lost side. Besancon's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Lyon CTC moved-up to third place in Group B. Loser Besancon keeps the tenth position with 16 games lost. Lyon CTC will meet CFBB (#13) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Besancon will play against Orchesien BC and hope to secure a win.
