The game between closely ranked teams ended with twelfth ranked Roanne's (8-12) home victory over 13th ranked Le Mans (8-12) 73-66 on Wednesday. Roanne forced 20 Le Mans turnovers. Strangely Le Mans outrebounded Roanne 48-35 including 17 on the offensive glass. The best player for the winners was Birahima Sylla (199-2003) who scored 18 points. DR Congolese center Rollings Kamanda (205-2003) chipped in 13 points and 9 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was Lucas Veraghe (197-2001) who recorded 21 points and 7 rebounds and Hugo Mienandi (200-2003) added 20 points and 7 rebounds respectively. Le Mans' coach rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. The victory was the third consecutive win for Roanne. They moved-up to eleventh place, which they share with defeated Le Mans. Le Mans lost their third game in a row. Roanne will meet Monaco (#14) on the road in the next round. Le Mans will play against Gravelines and hope to secure a win.
