Very expected game when 12th ranked Thor AK (1-15) was crushed on the road by third ranked Keflavik (12-5) 97-77 on Thursday. The hosts trailed by 11 points at the halftime before their 60-29 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Keflavik outrebounded Thor AK 48-32 including a 35-24 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists. The best player for the winners was Lithuanian forward Darius Tarvydas (199-1991) who had a double-double by scoring 23 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists.
