There was an upset in Solna where higher ranked Taby Basket (7-11) was edged by eleventh ranked AIK Basket (4-13) 101-98 on Thursday. AIK Basket made 16-of-21 free shots (76.2 percent) during the game. Naturalized Turkish Erkan Inan (195-1989) fired 37 points (!!!) (on 13-of-16 shooting from the field) for the winners. Naturalized Bulgarian guard Kristoffer Gafor (195-1992) chipped in 18 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. Guard Jonas Ehlde (185-1992) produced 26 points and 5 rebounds and Egal Saleman (201-1988) added 20 points and 8 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. AIK Basket maintains eleventh place with 4-13 record. Taby Basket lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the seventh position with 11 games lost. AIK Basket will meet bottom-ranked Team4Q (#12) in the next round. Taby Basket will have a break next round.
