Regular Season Round 26: Pole France - Lyon 71-74

Very expected game in Paris where 13th ranked CFBB (7-19) was edged by third ranked Lyon CTC (18-8) 74-71 on Friday. Lyon CTC outrebounded CFBB 35-24 including a 26-14 advantage in defensive rebounds. Power forward Kevin Kokila (204-2001) scored 23 points and 6 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and center Bastien Albert (201-1994) chipped in 15 points and 7 rebounds (perfect from the field making all seven shots !!!) during the contest. Forward Mael Hamon-Crespin (207-2004) responded with 17 points and 7 rebounds and point guard Rayan Rupert (196-2004) scored 18 points and 4 assists. Four CFBB players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Newly promoted Lyon CTC maintains third position in Group B with 18-8 record behind leader Le Havre, which they share with Mulhouse. CFBB lost third consecutive game. They keep the thirteenth place with 19 games lost.
