A2 top team - Karditsas (13-1) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed twelfth ranked Agriniou (4-11) 80-51. Karditsas dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Agriniou's 30. They outrebounded Agriniou 48-32 including 19 on the offensive glass. Montenegrin center Milovan Draskovic (211-1995) notched a double-double by scoring 13 points and 14 rebounds to lead the effort and the former international center Ioannis Bourousis (214-1983, agency: Octagon Europe) supported him with 14 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line). Four Karditsas players scored in double figures. Even 9 points and 5 rebounds by Serbian guard Jovan Crnic (195-1994, college: ACU) did not help to save the game for Agriniou. Power forward Eirinaios Balos (205-1999) added 9 points and 5 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Karditsas maintains first position with 13-1 record. Agriniou lost third consecutive game. They keep the twelfth place with 11 games lost. Karditsas will play against Panerythraikos (#10) in New Eritrea in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Agriniou will have a break next round.
