Regular Season Round 19: RIG Mark - IK Eos 105-99

There was a surprise result in Kinna where ninth ranked RIG Mark (6-10) defeated higher ranked IK Eos (9-8) 105-99 on Saturday. RIG Mark forced 19 IK Eos turnovers. They shot the lights out from three sinking 19 long-distance shots on high 51.4 percentage. Forward Felix Brostrom (201-2003) fired 33 points (!!!) and 7 rebounds for the winners. Guard Max Andersson (187-2004) chipped in 12 points, 7 assists and 4 steals. Guard David Niklasson (193-1995, college: N.Platte CC) produced 30 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists (made all of his nine free throws !!!) and guard Joel Svensson (185-1996) added 14 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists respectively for lost side. Four RIG Mark and five IK Eos players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. RIG Mark have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They maintain ninth place with 6-10 record. Loser IK Eos keep the fifth position with eight games lost. RIG Mark will meet higher ranked Trelleborg (#6) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. IK Eos will play against Helsingborg and hope to secure a win.
