There was a small surprise when eighth ranked Usti n/Labem (13-14) defeated on the road 6th ranked USK Praha (12-14) 94-88 on Saturday. Usti n/Labem dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to USK Praha's 34 and made 16-of-20 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. Americans were the main players on the court. The best player for the winners was power forward Delvon Johnson (206-1989, college: Arkansas) who scored 20 points and 9 rebounds (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field). Swingman Lamb Autrey (190-1989, college: St.Mary's, TX) chipped in 15 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists. Four Usti n/Labem players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was point guard Nate West (178-1998, college: LeTourneau) who recorded 30 points and 5 rebounds and guard Kyle Mangas (193, college: IWU) added 26 points and 5 rebounds respectively. Usti n/Labem moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Kolin. USK Praha lost seventh consecutive game. They dropped to the seventh position with 14 games lost. They share it with Hradec Kralove. Usti n/Labem will meet at home league's second-placed Opava in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. USK Praha will play against the league's leader Nymburk (#1) and hope to secure a win.
