Not a big story in a game when 10th ranked Kalmar 2 (3-12) was outscored on the road by third ranked Aros (13-3) 87-48 on Sunday. Aros forced 24 Kalmar 2 turnovers and outrebounded them 54-40 including 17 on the offensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Simon Wahlberg notched a double-double by scoring 19 points and 15 rebounds to lead the effort and forward Alexander Lundqvist (197-1994) supported him with 14 points and 11 rebounds. Four Aros players scored in double figures. Aros' coach felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even a double-double of 20 points and 11 rebounds by guard Bryan Owuor (185-1996) did not help to save the game for Kalmar 2. Jovan Vega added 11 points and 7 rebounds. Aros moved-up to second place. Newly promoted Kalmar 2 keeps the tenth position with 12 games lost. They share it with Jamtland 2. Aros will meet Djurgarden (#3) in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Kalmar 2 will play against Hammarby (#7) and hope to secure a win.
