The most interesting game of round 20 in the Serie B was a home defeat of 6th ranked Senigallia (12-8) by fifth ranked Rieti Real (13-7) who outscored them by 21 points 75-54 in the game for the fifth place. Worth to mention a great performance of Omar Dieng (202-2000) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 17 points and 12 rebounds and naturalized Argentinian point guard Nicolas Stanic (180-1984) who added 12 points and 9 assists during the contest. Five Rieti Real players scored in double figures. Power forward Lorenzo Varaschin (197-1998, agency: BIG) responded with 8 points and 19 rebounds and point guard Filippo Giannini (184-1991) scored 12 points. Senigallia's coach Andrea Gabrielli gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Rieti Real maintains fifth position in B with 13-7 record. Senigallia at the other side keeps the sixth place with eight games lost. They share the position with Fiorenzuola. Rieti Real are looking forward to face Giulianova (#14) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Senigallia will play against Teramo (#9) and is hoping to prove to their fans that the loss was just an accident.
