The game between third ranked Eleftheroupoli (12-5) and fourth ranked Tritonas S. (12-4) was the most important one in the last round on Wednesday night. Eleftheroupoli was defeated by Tritonas S. in a tough game in Athens 75-84. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Eleftheroupoli. Tritonas S. dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Eleftheroupoli's 28. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Center Petros Melissaratos (205-1993, agency: Network Sports International) fired 21 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Guard Giannis Dimakos (192-1994) chipped in 22 points. Point guard Sokratis Naoumis (189-1997) produced 24 points and 5 assists and Diogenis Gorgonis (195-1998) added 11 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for lost side. Four Eleftheroupoli players scored in double figures. Eleftheroupoli's coach Kyriakos Papadopoulos rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Tritonas S. moved-up to third place. Eleftheroupoli at the other side dropped to the fourth position with five games lost. Tritonas S. are looking forward to face Enosi Kavalas (#6) in Kavalaa in the next round. Eleftheroupoli will play at home against Napfliou and is hoping to win this game.
