Regular Season Round 19: Panerythraikos - Karditsas 75-85

Leader Karditsas delivered the fourteenth victory. This time they beat 10th ranked Panerythraikos (7-9) 85-75 in New Eritrea. Karditsas players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of Montenegrin center Milovan Draskovic (211-1995) who helped to win the game recording 13 points and 9 rebounds. The former international center Ioannis Bourousis (214-1983, agency: Octagon Europe) contributed with 14 points for the winners. Center Panagiotis Tsamis (204-2002) answered with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 10 rebounds and power forward Konstantinos Kampouridis (204-1999) added 9 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Panerythraikos. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Karditsas maintains first place with 14-1 record. Panerythraikos at the other side dropped to the eleventh position with nine games lost. Karditsas will play against Pagrati (#13) in Athens in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Panerythraikos will play on the road against Agriniou and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
