Second Stage Round 3: USK Praha B - Brno 2 61-55

There was a minor upset when Brno 2 (11-10) was defeated on the road by USK Praha B (10-10) 61-55 on Sunday. The best player for the winners was forward Dalibor Vlk (200-2002) who scored 19 points and 6 rebounds. Swingman Tadeas Slowiak (185-2004) chipped in 13 points and 6 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Jan Strasak (190-1998) who recorded 21 points and 6 rebounds and guard Lukas Olbort (189-2004) added 12 points (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line) respectively. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. USK Praha B will meet at home Pardubice (#9) in the next round. Brno 2 will play against SP Basket and hope to secure a win.
