Regular Season Round 27: Starogard Gd. - Tychy 75-68

An interesting game took place in Starogard Gdanski where higher ranked Tychy (15-11) was upset on the court of eleventh ranked Kociewskie Diably (11-12) 75-68 on Wednesday. Kociewskie Diably outrebounded Tychy 50-36 including a 37-24 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was guard Filip Stryjewski (193-1999) who scored 18 points and 7 rebounds. Forward Kacper Burczyk (200-1999) chipped in a double-double by scoring 11 points and 10 rebounds. Four Kociewskie Diably players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Kacper Makowski (196-1999) who recorded 17 points and 9 rebounds and swingman Maciej Koperski (190-1999) added 16 points respectively. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Kociewskie Diably moved-up to tenth place. Tychy lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the fifth position with 11 games lost. Kociewskie Diably will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Tychy will play against Znicz (#16) and hope to secure a win.
