Regular Season Round 23: Wulfen - Hagen-Haspe 81-95

There was a surprise result when twelfth ranked Hagen-Haspe (8-13) defeated on the road higher ranked BSV Wulfen (12-10) 95-81 on Wednesday. Hagen-Haspe made 21-of-25 free shots (84.0 percent) during the game. It was a great evening for American power forward Daniel Westbrook (208-1995, college: Barton, NC) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 14 rebounds. Dutch point guard Sven Cikara (188-2001, agency: One Motive Sports) helped adding 25 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Point guard Manuel Bojang (184-2001) responded with 16 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists and point guard Matej Silic (188-2003) scored 17 points. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. BSV Wulfen's coach rotated ten players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Newly promoted Hagen-Haspe maintains twelfth place in West with 8-13 record. Loser BSV Wulfen dropped to the fifth position with ten games lost. Hagen-Haspe's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Hagen to the arena Hagen BG.
