Rather predictable result when third ranked La Zubia (12-5) won against at home 6th ranked Oh!Tels ULB (9-10) 62-57 on Saturday. It was an exceptional evening for Rui Pereira (191-1998) who led the winners and scored 22 points and 8 rebounds. Forward Javier Hernandez (201-1993) accounted for 15 points and 12 rebounds for the winning side. La Zubia's coach Antonio Machuca allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Forward David Espadina (201-1993) came up with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds and center Candido Matoso (207-1992) added 13 points and 10 rebounds respectively for Oh!Tels ULB in the defeat. La Zubia maintains third place in Group D-A with 12-5 record having seven points less than leader Barca 2. Loser Oh!Tels ULB keeps the sixth position with ten games lost.
