Date: March 5, 2022
Everything went according to plan when third ranked Sluc Nancy (14-8) outleveled at home 15th ranked Nantes (7-12) 82-56 on Saturday. Sluc Nancy forced 22 Nantes turnovers. Antony Labanca (192-1994) stepped up and scored 18 points and 5 assists (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) for the winners and Stephane Gombauld (205-1997, agency: Slash Sports) chipped in 13 points and 9 rebounds. Four Sluc Nancy players scored in double figures. Sluc Nancy will meet ASA (#17) in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Nantes will play against Quimper UJAP and hope to secure a win.
