No shocking result in a game in Vladivostok where eleventh ranked Dinamo V. (9-15) smashed 13th ranked Khimki (6-18) 91-69 on Saturday. They outrebounded Khimki 41-28 including 16 on the offensive glass. The best player for the winners was Belarusian guard Kirill Sitnik (190-1989) who scored 27 points and 6 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field). American guard Tyron Harris (188-1991, college: Columbus St.) chipped in 16 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Four Dinamo V. players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was power forward Alexandr Kurbatov (208-1997) who recorded 15 points and 7 rebounds and forward Alexander Maltsev (200-2002) added 20 points respectively. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Dinamo V. moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Barnaul. Khimki lost their third game in a row. They keep the thirteenth position with 18 games lost. They share it with Ufimets Ufa. Dinamo V. is looking forward to face higher ranked Univ.Surgut (#8) at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Khimki will play against Irkut (#6) in Irkutsk and is hoping to prove to their supporters that they can break losing series.
