Everything went according to plan when fourth ranked Tigers (16-8) defeated 10th ranked Eisbaeren Bremerhaven (13-13) in Tuebingen 87-74 on Sunday. Tigers looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists. The winners were led by American forward Ryan Mikesell (201-1996, college: Dayton) who scored that evening 20 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists and center Daniel Keppeler (204-1997, college: Regnitztal) supported him with 22 points. Tigers' coach Daniel Jansson used an eleven-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Even a double-double of 20 points and 10 rebounds by Kevin Yebo (207-1996) did not help to save the game for Eisbaeren Bremerhaven. American forward Armani Moore (193-1994, college: Tennessee) added 14 points for lost side. Tigers have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place. Loser Eisbaeren Bremerhaven dropped to the eleventh position with 13 games lost. Tigers will meet at home SparkassenStars (#13) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Eisbaeren Bremerhaven will play against Uni Baskets and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
