The game between closely ranked teams ended with one of their biggest challengers Nymburk's (3-4) home loss to third ranked Tygri Brno (6-1) 65-82 on Sunday. Tygri Brno had a 38-24 advantage in offensive rebounds. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Tygri Brno made 7 blocks. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Adam Lukes (191-2004) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 16 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists and guard Lukas Olbort (189-2004) who added 20 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side Slovakian forward David Novak (195-2003) responded with 13 points, 7 rebounds, 8 assists and 4 steals and guard Martin Fisera (192-2003) produced a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Tygri Brno maintains third position in League with 6-1 record having just one point less than leader J.Hradec. Loser Nymburk keeps the fourth place with four games lost. Tygri Brno will meet Sokol Prazsky (#6) in the next round. Nymburk will play against Synthesia in Pardubice and hope to secure a win.
