Galil Elion had a 14-2 advantage in offensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of international Nimrod Levi (208-1995) who helped to win the game recording 17 points and 9 rebounds. Nigerian point guard Ike Iroegbu (188-1995, college: WSU) contributed with 16 points and 7 rebounds (made all of his seven free throws) for the winners. Four Galil Elion players scored in double figures. Galil Elion's coach Barak Peleg allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. American forward Kristian Doolittle (201-1997, college: Oklahoma, agency: Pensack Sports) answered with a double-double by scoring 14 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists and the other American import point guard Toney Douglas (189-1986, college: FSU) added 14 points and 4 assists in the effort for Hapoel Eilat. Galil Elion moved-up to sixth place, which they share with H.Haifa. Hapoel Eilat at the other side keeps the ninth position with 11 games lost. They share it with H.Galil Gilboa. Galil Elion will play against Ironi Nes-Ziona (#8) in Nes Ziyona in the next round. Hapoel Eilat will play at home against Galil Gilboa and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
