The game between closely ranked teams ended with 9th ranked Taby Basket's (7-13) road loss to eighth ranked Helsingborg (8-11) 86-114 on Sunday. Helsingborg dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Taby Basket's 42. They outrebounded Taby Basket 43-28 including 16 on the offensive glass. Helsingborg shot the lights out from three sinking 14 long-distance shots on high 51.9 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists. Five Helsingborg and four Taby Basket players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Newly promoted Helsingborg maintains eighth place with 8-11 record. Taby Basket lost their seventh game in a row. They keep the ninth position with 13 games lost. Helsingborg will meet at home Ockelbo (#10) in the next round. Taby Basket will play against the league's leader KFUM Uppsala where they are definitely not considered as a favorite in this game either.
