Regular Season Round 19: H.Jerusalem - Bnei Hertzeliya 89-88

The most exciting game of round 19 in the Winner League took place in Jerusalem. This derby game ended with only one-point defeat on the road of 4th placed Bnei Hasharon (10-7) to first ranked Hapoel Jerusalem (12-5) 89-88 on Monday evening. Belgian-Nigerian guard Retin Obasohan (189-1993, college: Alabama) chipped in 24 points and 5 rebounds. Four Hapoel Jerusalem players scored in double figures. American Chris Babb (196-1990, college: Iowa St.) produced 23 points and the other American import point guard D.J. Cooper (183-1990, college: Ohio) added 8 points, 6 rebounds and 10 assists respectively for lost side. Hapoel Jerusalem have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain first place with 12-5 record. Bnei Hasharon at the other side keeps the fourth position with seven games lost. They share it with H.Tel-Aviv. Hapoel Jerusalem are looking forward to face Hapoel Haifa (#7) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Bnei Hasharon will play against Hapoel Tel-Aviv and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
