Regular Season Round 28: TSU - Novosybirsk 93-101

The most important game in the last round took place in Revda between third ranked TSU (19-6) and seventh ranked Novosybirsk (14-11) on Tuesday night. TSU was defeated by Novosybirsk in a tough game at home 93-101. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of TSU. They outrebounded TSU 49-33 including a 34-23 advantage in defensive rebounds. 25 personal fouls committed by TSU helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Alexandr Lavnikov (205-1991, agency: Alti Sport) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 20 points and 14 rebounds. Swingman Ruslan Tumanov (195-1991, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) contributed with 21 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. The former international guard Maxim Kolyushkin (191-1990) replied with 19 points and 6 assists and forward Konstantin Bulanov (204-1990, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) added 14 points and 4 steals in the effort for TSU. Five Novosybirsk and four TSU players scored in double figures. TSU's coach Aleksei Lobanov rotated twelve players in this game, but that didn't help. Novosybirsk is looking forward to face higher ranked Irkut (#5) in Irkutsk in the next round and it may be quite challenging game.
