Regular Season Round 22: ASA - Nancy 84-75

The most important game in the last round took place in Gries between third ranked Sluc Nancy (14-9) and seventeenth ranked ASA (8-13) on Tuesday night. Sluc Nancy was defeated by ASA in a tough game on the road 75-84. ASA looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard Marquis Wright (185-1995, college: Siena) who helped to win the game recording 23 points and 4 assists. Power forward Jerome Cazenobe (204-1989) contributed with 10 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Four ASA players scored in double figures. American guard Caleb Walker (194-1989, college: Nebraska) replied with 18 points and 9 rebounds and Croatian forward David Skara (203-1995, college: Clemson) added 14 points in the effort for Sluc Nancy. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. ASA moved-up to fifteenth place, which they share with Boulazac. Sluc Nancy at the other side keeps the third position with nine games lost. ASA is looking forward to face higher ranked Saint-Quentin (#7) on the road in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Sluc Nancy will play against Denain Voltaire (#14) and is hoping to win this game.
