The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Ramla (14-9) at the home court on Thursday night. Hosts were edged by Rishon LZ (17-6) 68-67. Rishon LZ forced 19 Ramla turnovers. Strangely Ramla outrebounded Rishon LZ 45-33 including a 33-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. Americans were the main players on the court. It was a great evening for guard Jennie Simms (183-1994, college: ODU) who led her team to a victory scoring 24 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. Forward Kristi Bellock (186-1990, college: Texas A&M) helped adding 13 points and 9 rebounds. Point guard Crystal Dangerfield (165-1998, college: UConn, agency: LBM Management) responded with 17 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists and forward Emma Cannon (190-1989, college: FSC) produced a double-double by scoring 16 points and 12 rebounds. Four Rishon LZ and five Ramla players scored in double figures. Rishon LZ keeps a position of league leader, which they share with M.Haifa. Ramla at the other side dropped to the fourth place with nine games lost.
