There was a minor upset when 9th ranked USK Praha B (11-11) lost on the road to twelfth ranked Olomouc Bbal (9-14) 70-60 on Friday. Olomouc Bbal had a 21-7 advantage in offensive rebounds. Forward Dominik Zak (201-2001) nailed a double-double by scoring 25 points and 13 rebounds for the winning side and Moldovan forward Eugeniu Scripcaru (195-1983) accounted for 13 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Guard Matej Safarik (188-2003) came up with 18 points and 6 rebounds and forward Dalibor Vlk (200-2002) added 17 points respectively for USK Praha B in the defeat. USK Praha B's coach Petr Jachan rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Olomouc Bbal maintains twelfth place in Places 7-12 with 9-14 record. Loser USK Praha B keeps the ninth position with 11 games lost. Olomouc Bbal will meet higher ranked SP Basket (#11) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. USK Praha B will play against Pardubice and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
