There was a minor upset when their close opponent Dresden (2-12) was defeated on the road by sixth ranked Braunschweig (6-5) 88-73 on Sunday. Braunschweig looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by Dresden's players. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Braunschweig made 9 blocks.
