Regular Season Round 28: Pisz - Legionowo 70-56

We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when 13th ranked Legionowo (6-20) was defeated on the road by fourteenth ranked Pisz (7-20) 70-56 on Sunday. Pisz dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Legionowo's 26. They outrebounded Legionowo 51-36 including 17 on the offensive glass. Guard Mateusz Bessman (184-1999) fired 18 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Center Mikolaj Lackowski (201-2000) chipped in 9 points and 9 rebounds. Center Lukasz Paul (205-1989) produced a double-double by scoring 13 points and 14 rebounds and Przemyslaw Lewandowski (201-1978) added 18 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for lost side. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Pisz moved-up to thirteenth place. Legionowo at the other side, also newcomer in the league, dropped to the twelfth position with 20 games lost. They share it with WKK 2. Pisz will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Legionowo will play against Hutnik W-wa (#6) and hope to secure a win.
