At the losing side American power forward Jeremy Combs (199-1995, college: Texas Southern) responded with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 13 rebounds and Niv Berkowitz (192-1986, college: Marquette) scored 10 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. M.Ashdod moved-up to twelfth place, which they share with H.Izrael. M.Hod Hasharon lost eighth consecutive game. They stay dead last with 24 lost games. M.Ashdod will meet higher ranked E.Netanya (#8) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. M.Hod Hasharon will have a break next round.
