Regular Season Round 32: Zwolle - Mechelen 56-70

An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Zwolle. Top-ranked Belgian Kangoeroes faced 4th ranked Dutch Zwolle. Guests from Mechelen (2-0) defeated host Zwolle (0-2) 70-56. It was a great shooting night for Kangoeroes especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 57.1 percentage. American guard Myles Stephens (196-1997, college: Princeton) orchestrated the victory by scoring 11 points and 7 rebounds. Point guard Domien Loubry (186-1985) contributed with 17 points for the winners. Five Kangoeroes players scored in double figures. Kangoeroes' coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. American point guard Naba Echols (180-1996, college: NMU) replied with 17 points and his fellow American import forward Noah Dahlman (202-1989, college: Wofford) added 13 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Zwolle. Kangoeroes keep a position of league leader, which they share with 5 other teams. Zwolle at the other side still closes the standings with two games lost. They share the position with Feyenoord and Yoast Utd.. Kangoeroes will play against Den Bosch (#3) at home in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Zwolle will play against Leuven Bears and looks forward to get finally their first victory.
