Second Stage Round 3: Tarbes-Lourdes - Boulogne 73-74

The most interesting game of round 3 was only one-point a home defeat of Lourdes-Tarbes (6-5) to SO Maritime Boulogne (7-4) 74-73. SO Maritime Boulogne made 16-of-21 free shots (76.2 percent) during the game. It was a great evening for American swingman Wendell Davis (197-1995, college: Ashland) who led his team to a victory scoring 15 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Ivorian power forward Ladji Meite (203-2000) helped adding 14 points and 9 rebounds (perfect from the field making all seven shots !!!). The best for the losing side was forward Calvin Jubenot (198-1986) with 15 points and 7 rebounds and Mozambican-American guard Kendal Manuel (194-1997, college: Montana, agency: Inception Sports) scored 17 points. SO Maritime Boulogne is looking forward to face Pontoise (#3) in Cergy in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Lourdes-Tarbes will play on the road against SOPCC in Pont de Cheruy and is hoping to prove to their supporters that this time they can win.
