Second Stage Round 1: Bosco - Kastela 82-87

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Bosco in Zagreb on Saturday night. Hosts were defeated by Kastela 87-82. Kastela forced 20 Bosco turnovers. Guard Ivan Svalina (198-1997) stepped up and scored 32 points and 5 rebounds for the winners and forward Ante Perkusic (196-2002) chipped in 16 points and 6 rebounds. Kastela's coach used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. At the losing side center Ante Smolic (207-1993) responded with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 11 rebounds and Swedish forward Luka Babic (199-2000) scored 25 points and 7 rebounds. Kastela are looking forward to face H.Analitica in Zagreb in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Bosco's supporters also look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Zagreb to the arena Dinamo.
