The game in Athens was also quite interesting. 4th ranked Koroivos (13-7) played at the court of sixth ranked Tritonas S. (13-5). Tritonas S. defeated Koroivos 74-60 on Saturday. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Koroivos. Tritonas S. looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The winners were led by Serbian guard Nemanja Manojlovic (197-1993, agency: Wasserman) who scored that evening 21 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and the former international center Loukas Mavrokefalidis (207-1984, agency: Network Sports International) supported him with 18 points and 8 rebounds. Tritonas S.'s coach Michalis Mihelakos used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even 17 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists by point guard Venos Mastoros (183-1998) did not help to save the game for Koroivos. Nikos Paparegkas (200-1994) added 13 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Tritonas S. moved-up to third place, which they share with Eleftheroupoli. Newly promoted Koroivos dropped to the fifth position with seven games lost. Tritonas S. will meet league's leader Karditsas on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Koroivos will play against Napfliou (#14) and hope to secure a win.
