There was a small surprise when twelfth ranked Hagen-Haspe (10-14) beat at home 9th ranked ETB Miners (11-13) 104-99 on Saturday. Hagen-Haspe made 20-of-24 free shots (83.3 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Hagen-Haspe made 7 blocks. American power forward Daniel Westbrook (208-1995, college: Barton, NC) fired a double-double by scoring 27 points and 14 rebounds for the winners. Forward Oscar Luchterhandt (195-1991) chipped in 12 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists. Five Hagen-Haspe players scored in double figures. Hagen-Haspe's coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game.
