We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when 10th ranked Valencia 2 (8-12) lost on the road to eleventh ranked Alginet (8-12) 64-56 on Sunday. Lithuanian center Rokas Gadiliauskas (211-1998) notched a double-double by scoring 15 points and 14 rebounds to lead the effort and point guard Miguel Martinez (183-1995) supported him with 14 points. Even 12 points and 6 rebounds by power forward Alejandro Rivas (203-1998) did not help to save the game for Valencia 2. Argentinian-Italian center Gonzalo Bressan (205-2001, agency: Interperformances) added 9 points and 8 rebounds for lost side. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Alginet moved-up to tenth place in Silver. Alginet will meet higher ranked Real Canoe (#9) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Valencia 2 will play against Cartagena and hope to secure a win.
