There was no surprise when 11th ranked Gent Hawks (7-14) were defeated on the road by sixth ranked Kortrijk (11-6) 84-72 on Sunday. Forward Robbe Naudts (198-1990) fired 19 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Sander Van Caeneghem (206-1995) chipped in 15 points and 7 rebounds. Power forward Joren Vermoesen (201-1993) produced 13 points and 9 rebounds and Sami Demirtas (190-1996) added 17 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) respectively for lost side. Five Kortrijk and four Gent Hawks players scored in double figures. Kortrijk maintains sixth position with 11-6 record. Gent Hawks lost third consecutive game.
