There was a minor upset when 7th ranked JA Vichy (12-9) was defeated at home by tenth ranked ALM Evreux (12-12) 96-82 on Sunday. ALM Evreux looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard Marquis Jackson (183-1994, college: Ohio Christian) who helped to win the game recording 21 points and Serbian Djordje Milosevic (199-1993, agency: PEPI SPORT) who added 16 points and 6 assists during the contest. Five ALM Evreux players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American forward Dominez Burnett (196-1992, college: Davenport) with 21 points and 7 rebounds and Ivorian Cedric Bah (198-1994) scored 14 points and 7 rebounds. JA Vichy's coach tested eleven players and allowed the starting five to rest. ALM Evreux have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Saint Vallier and Lille. Loser JA Vichy keeps the seventh position with nine games lost. ALM Evreux will meet at home Saint Vallier (#9) in the next round. JA Vichy will play against ADA Blois and hope to secure a win.
