No shocking result in a game when first ranked Etoile Angers (10-2) smashed on the road 10th ranked Caen (3-9) 85-57 on Tuesday. Etoile Angers forced 20 Caen turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard Akaemji Williams (175-1996, college: LSSU) who helped to win the game recording 22 points and 5 rebounds and swingman Stephan Gauthier (192-1995) who added 23 points during the contest. At the losing side swingman Florian Thibedore (193-1990) responded with 16 points and American Kevin Bracy-Davis (202-1995, college: Davis & Elkins) scored 12 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Etoile Angers have an impressive ten-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 10-2 record. Caen lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the tenth place with nine games lost. They share the position with Toulouse.
