Another exciting game was played in Boulogne-sur-Mer between third ranked Pontoise and their biggest opponent SO Maritime Boulogne where Pontoise (8-4) beat SO Maritime Boulogne (7-5) on the road 69-65. It was a key game for the second position in the league. Pontoise outrebounded SO Maritime Boulogne 39-25 including 28 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Dylan Gana (202-1992) who helped to win the game recording 22 points and 8 rebounds. American point guard Vinnie Shahid (180-1998, college: NDSU) contributed with 16 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. American swingman Wendell Davis (197-1995, college: Ashland) replied with 24 points and point guard Louis Weber (186-1998) added 9 points and 8 assists in the effort for SO Maritime Boulogne. Pontoise moved-up to second place. SO Maritime Boulogne at the other side dropped to the third position with five games lost. They share it with Andrezieux and Lorient. Pontoise will play against Andrezieux (#4) at home in the next round. SO Maritime Boulogne will play against Toulouse and hopes to get back on the winning track.
