Regular Season Round 21: KFUM Lidingo - Sloga Uppsala 87-91

There was a minor upset when their close opponent KFUM Lidingo (16-5) was defeated at home by third ranked Sloga Uppsala (16-5) 91-87 on Wednesday. The best player for the winners was naturalized Serbian forward Dragan Damjanovic (203-1988) who had a double-double by scoring 30 points and 10 rebounds. Serbian center Milos Tanaskovic (203-1993) chipped in 21 points and 5 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Alexandar Petrovic (197-1993) who recorded 29 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and forward Aleksander Mlodianovski (189-1998) added 12 points and 7 assists respectively. Four Sloga Uppsala and five KFUM Lidingo players scored in double figures. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Sloga Uppsala. They moved-up to second place, which they share with defeated KFUM Lidingo. Sloga Uppsala will meet at home Umea 2 (#6) in the next round. KFUM Lidingo will play against Akersberga (#4) in Stockholm and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
