Regular Season Round 24: Cholet - Limoges CSP 71-61

The game between Top Four teams took place in Cholet. Second ranked host Cholet (18-3) defeated one of their biggest challengers Limoges CSP (16-6) 71-61. Cholet dominated down low during the game scoring 42 of its points in the paint compared to Limoges CSP's 16. Worth to mention a great performance of swingman Kevin Marsillon-Noleo (202-2002) who helped to win the game recording 17 points and 6 rebounds and point guard Matheo Leray (190-2003) who added 16 points during the contest. Cholet's coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was Algerian Mehdi Bellil (191-2001) with 18 points and Cedrick Sam Mbaka (198-2002) scored 17 points. Cholet have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 18-3 record having just one point less than leader ASVEL. Limoges CSP at the other side keeps the third place with six games lost. Cholet are looking forward to face Gravelines (#15) on the road in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Limoges CSP will play against Orleans (#18) and is hoping to prove to their fans that the loss was just an accident.
