There was a surprise result when eighth ranked Fellbach (10-11) outscored at home second-ranked Stuttgart (14-6) 84-61 on Saturday. They outrebounded Stuttgart 45-30 including 30 on the defensive glass. Fellbach looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists comparing to just 6 passes made by Stuttgart's players. American forward Anton Ivy (203, college: ACU) had a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Mark Golder (198-1999) chipped in 19 points during the contest. Greek guard Vassilis Lampropoulos (196-1990) responded with 22 points and point guard Jalen Fouda (191-1999) scored 11 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Stuttgart's coach already knew that his team would not have a big chance, so allowed to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Fellbach moved-up to seventh place in South West. Stuttgart lost third consecutive game. They keep the second position with six games lost. Fellbach will meet TV Langen (#11) on the road in the next round.
