There was an upset in Morón de la Frontera where 4th placed Burgos (15-10) was defeated by tenth ranked Moron (11-12) 75-66 on Saturday. Moron forced 21 Burgos turnovers. The best player for the winners was Portuguese guard Diogo Brito (198-1997, college: Utah St.) who scored 22 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists. American forward Myron Hagins (200-1998, college: Eckerd) chipped in 17 points. Guard Didac Cuevas (178-2000) produced 11 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and naturalized Argentinian forward Alejandro Bortolussi (202-1989) added 7 points respectively for the guests. Burgos' coach Francis Tome rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Moron maintains tenth place in Silver with 11-12 record. Loser Burgos keeps the fourth position with ten games lost. Moron will meet league's second-placed Zornotza in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
