Piestanske Cajky rallied past Young Angels to open win count in the series. Piestanske C. made 21-of-24 free shots (87.5 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international Natalia Martiskova (170-1999) who helped to win the game recording 20 points and 6 rebounds. American power forward Sarah Boothe (195-1990, college: Stanford) contributed with 16 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Four Piestanske C. players scored in double figures. American guard Keri Jewett-Giles (168-1997, college: FGCU) answered with 24 points and the other American import guard Valerie Higgins (185-1998, college: Pacific, agency: LBM Management) added 10 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for Young Angels. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
