There was a surprise result when tenth ranked Caen (4-9) won against on the road 3rd placed Lorient (7-6) 67-63 on Saturday. Caen forced 20 Lorient turnovers. Point guard Olivier Romain (183-1988) nailed 11 points and 5 assists for the winning side and naturalized Guyanese forward Gide Noel (200-1993) accounted for 10 points and 5 rebounds. Four Caen players scored in double figures. Caen's coach Fabrice Courcier used a ten-player rotation in such tough game.
