Sixteenth-ranked Obradoiro (8-17) gave a tough game to ninth ranked Breogan (12-11) in Lugo on Saturday. Breogan managed to secure only two-point victory 80-78. However their fans expected much easier game. The best player for the winners was Bosnian swingman Dzanan Musa (205-1999, agency: BeoBasket) who scored 23 points and 7 rebounds. American Tyler Kalinoski (193-1992, college: Davidson) chipped in 11 points. British-Canadian Thomas Scrubb (199-1991, college: Carleton, agency: Octagon Europe) produced 22 points and 9 rebounds and American point guard Braydon Hobbs (196-1989, college: Bellarmine) added 12 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists respectively for the guests. Four Obradoiro players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Breogan moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Murcia and Gran Canaria. Loser Obradoiro keeps the sixteenth position with 17 games lost. They share it with Andorra. Breogan will meet at home Burgos (#13) in the next round where they are favorite. Obradoiro will play against Manresa and hope to secure a win.
