Regular Season Round 27: Castello - Prat 78-80

There was a surprise result in Castellon where fifteenth ranked Prat (10-17) edged higher ranked Castello (13-13) 80-78 on Thursday. The best player for the winners was guard Sergi Costa (188-1996) who scored 16 points. Forward Marc Blanch (195-1982) chipped in 16 points. At the other side the best for losing team was American forward Eric Stutz (205-1992, college: EKU) who recorded 20 points and the other American import forward Calvin Hermanson (200-1994, college: St.Mary's, CA) added 22 points respectively. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Newly promoted Prat maintains fifteenth place with 10-17 record. Loser Castello dropped to the tenth position with 13 games lost. They share it with Acunsa GBC. Prat will meet at home higher ranked Almansa (#13) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Castello will play against Palma and hope to secure a win.
