Regular Season Round 26: Saint Vallier - Tours 80-71

There was no surprise when 12th ranked Tours (11-14) was defeated on the road by tenth ranked Saint Vallier (13-13) 80-71 on Friday. Saint Vallier looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was American-Jamaican center Ryan Rhoomes (203-1992, college: Fordham) who had a double-double by scoring 10 points and 10 rebounds. American forward Demond Watt (200-1989, college: TAMUCC) chipped in 8 points and 11 rebounds. Jamaican Tyran De Lattibeaudiere (201-1991, college: Lamar) produced 15 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists and American guard James Batemon (185-1997, college: LMU) added 18 points (was perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line !!!) respectively for the guests. Four Tours players scored in double figures. Saint Vallier moved-up to ninth place. Tours at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the twelfth position with 14 games lost. They share it with Denain. Saint Vallier will meet league's leader Saint Chamond on the road in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Tours will play against JA Vichy (#8) and hope to secure a win.
